I like to cook, and write, and talk about food.
I used to write restaurant reviews for MKE magazine, a weekly publication of Journal Sentinel Communications in Milwaukee, but the publication folded last year.
I also like photography, and have a degree in visual and critical studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC).
I’ve traveled to lots of places, and I enjoy ethnic food and trying new things.
You’ll notice that my recipes are a mix of exotic, authentic and seasonal influences with a healthy number of more classic American and Midwestern flavors in my never ending quest to satisfy both my boyfriend and myself.
